FOOTBALL Big 12 rule change is a major domino....

This is what I hoped the decision would be. The Big 12 was granted the rule change allowing them to have a Big 12 Championship game with only 10 teams. Meaning, they will have no divisions and the best 2 teams will play in the conference championship game. The previous rule stated that conferences must have 12 teams in 2 divisions in order to have a game.

This is a major step in the right direction in deregulating conference championship games getting rid of stupid divisions. The BEST 2 teams regardless of division should play in a conference championship game. Not a 12-0, 11-1 team vs. a 8-4, 7-5 or worse division winner from the other division when you have better options available.

I hope all conferences go this route eliminating divisions.

Good job NCAA, you FINALLY got something right!
