Tied for 1st place in SAA Conference with 2 other teams. They are playing Centre in Danville Ky next Saturday, also a 1 loss team. If Centre wins, they win the conference and its playoff spot. If Berry wins, they don't own the tie breaker against Washington University from St Louis. So for Berry to make the playoffs, they need WashU to lose to Chicago Saturday.

He's doing a great job in his classes. He really likes his teammates and they have a good team who really focusses and performs well. When they make mistakes, they get over them quickly and adjust.

We are definitely enjoying the season so far. I hope they have a chance to make the D3 playoffs.

Berry won . 9-1 co-champs. But they lost the tie-breaker and the automatic bid.

Berry has their first ALL-American.

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Junior defensive lineman Mamadou Soumahoro has been named First-Team All-America by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), the organization announced on Monday.

Soumahoro, a Lawrenceville, Ga. native, had one of the most impressive seasons in all of NCAA Division III this year. He finished the season leading the nation in solo sacks (15), added 47 tackles and 20 tackles for a loss this season, good enough for No. 10 in the nation. He broke the Berry College single-season sack record this year after a five tackle, two sack performance over then No. 22 Hendrix. Soumahoro forced five fumbles (No. 4 in the nation) and recovered four (No. 2 in the nation).
