I think TBA's arm has to be getting tired at this point in the season. Dude is starting 2 to 3 games a week. I think TBA is code for Charlie Wholestaff.

Going back to the Duke series, the pitching (and defense) have been atrocious. Giving up 8 runs a game (some of it of course unearned because we look like little leaguers defensively at times). That's over the last 10 games before giving up a minimum of 9 tonight and likely will be double digits...again.

Hopefully the Good Guys can get the win tonight. Sweet DP right there by CJ to maybe save a run. Getting late. Room for error is razor thin for making the NCAAT.

My goodness. What an underachieving team.

I've been thinking the last few years and am starting to think even more that the "bevy" of fertile recruiting we supposedly have as some kind of advantage is not really all that fertile like so many claim. Most of our superstars over the years have come from outside of Atlanta.

I'm sure there are some that fit that mold, but I can no longer believe a local guy or collection of guys from East Cobb or wherever is going to help lead us to being an upper-third ACC team. This program continues to regress unfortunately.

Seems like the guys start most seasons off real well then fade. A few good Tournament Banners, then another fade out.

And the free fall in RPI is starting to set in...we dropped 6 spots to now #30 after being near the top 15 a week ago.

Jackets get the road win across town tonight, 11-5. Need to head up 85 and somehow walk away with 2 wins, though 1 win will be OK. Orangenecks have 9 home and 3 road games left in their ACC schedule. Next 3 series are at home against us, FSU and then the Pig Farmers.

I am glad to get the win. The team needed it before going to Clemson.

I am afraid the Jackets will need more than just 1 to stay in the top 10 of the ACC. That's a huge order for any ACC team on the road. But that's what happens when you can't win your home series.
