"William Johnson is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 6-0 150 lb. 175 lb frame from Watkinsville, GA who attends Oconee County. Nice young athletic build with some present strength and lots of physical projectability. Left handed hitter, hits with a deep hand load and big closed shoulder turn, closed stride, creating length before he swings bat has the raw bat speed to work through it at present, swings hard and hits through the ball, line drive swing plane with good separation, pull to mid field line drive contact, strong hands at contact, projects well as a hitter with additional strength and pre-swing adjustments. 7.78 runner in the sixty, nice athletic actions in the outfield working to the ball, clean fundamental footwork and arm action, very clean transfers for his age, gets nice carry on his throws with lower half drive through release. Also pitched, has a quick and clean arm action, mostly on line with occasional fall off to third base, nice lower half turn to add power to his pitches. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, throws lots of fastball strikes and gets good late life to all quadrants on the pitch. Flashed some sharpness to a hard curveball.
