Stanford redshirt junior RB Barry J. Sanders has been granted a release from the Cardinal and will transfer to another program.
Sanders was third on Stanford's depth chart this season behind Christian McCaffrey and Remound Wright. Sanders is on track to graduate this spring, and could be eligible for the 2016 season upon completion. As of now, he is prohibited from transferring to another Pac-12 program, but Oklahoma State could be the front runner for Barry Sanders' son.
