BASEBALL Bark at the Park Returns in 2023 Baseball Promotions

THE FLATS – With the upcoming baseball season just a week away, Georgia Tech baseball announced its 2023 promotional scheduled, including expanded tailgating opportunities for the season and Bark at the Park at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.



BARK AT THE PARK

Save the date because Georgia Tech will be hosting all your furry friends for TWO Bark at the Park days this year at Mac Nease Baseball Park – April 18 vs. Georgia State at 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 vs. Gardner-Webb at 4 p.m.



Fans and their pups must meet the following qualifications prior to entry for each game into Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium:



• All owners must sign a waiver – Click HERE to download waiver and email to jbaskinger@athletics.gatech.edu once completed.

• Only two (2) dogs per owner may enter the stadium.

• Owners and dogs are welcome to sit in Section 12 on the first-base side and the nearby concrete area within Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.

· Reserved and bleacher seats are off limits.

· Permitted owners will be supplied with a wristband to leave and re-enter the stadium.

• Dogs must be non-aggressive, good in crowds of dogs and people, not in heat, in good health and current on all vaccinations.

• Dog must be under 80 pounds.

• Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

• Children with dogs must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times.

• Owners must promptly bag and dispose of any waste created by their dog.



Water monsters will be available on the first-base concourse for filling up bowls to keep dogs hydrated. Complimentary bowls will be provided if needed.



Other giveaways for fans and their canines in attendance will include bandanas and other dog toys.



PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Highlights of giveaways this season at Mac Nease Baseball Park include schedule magnets, campfire mugs, THWg trucker hats, adidas T-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, mini bats and more!



Other specialty games include Miracle Game (Feb. 19), All Abilities Night (March 21), Grad Appreciation Game (April 4), Greek Night (April 7), White Out (April 11) and more.



Mac Nease Baseball Park will also play host to Atlanta Braves organist, Matthew Kaminski, for the April 28 Gardner-Webb game.



On the ticketing side, home Tuesdays throughout the season will be “Two for $10 Tuesdays” where general admission bench seating will be available at a discounted rate.



Several games and series are sponsored in 2023 as well: Atlanta Journal-Constitution (Tennessee Tech, Feb. 24-26); Invesco QQQ (Georgia, March 4); Textron (Notre Dame, March 10-12); WestMar Student Lofts (Clemson, March 24-26); RS Andrews (North Carolina, April 6-8); Hattie B’s (Pitt, May 5-7); and EGP Document Solutions (Virginia, May 18-20).

GEORGIA TECH BASEBALL TICKETS

Be there for all the heart-stopping action as Georgia Tech baseball looks to win its third ACC Coastal Title in four years! Opening Day is slated for Friday, Feb. 17 as the Yellow Jackets prepare to host more than 30 home games at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium – one of the country’s premier collegiate baseball venues. Fans currently have multiple options for securing their spot this year, including season tickets, six-game packages, Georgia Tech’s Flex Plan and single-game tickets.
