This doesn't really matter since we didn't take care of business versus Duke, UNC and Pitt, but here are a few things to chew on...
Miami and Tech both played Clemson and FSU. We (with Miami) went 1-3 against them.
The rest of the Coastal division is 5-0 to this point versus the Atlantic.
Except for Louisville vs. Virginia, it is likely the Coastal team will be favored in every remaining game versus the Atlantic.
(VPI over BC, Duke over Wake, UNC over NC State and Pitt over Louisville (could be close)).
At this point, Clemson and FSU are 13-1 and 8-1 in the ACC.
The rest of the Atlantic is 18-20 and 5-15 in the ACC.
It may be a wacky year but it shows how the odds were against us (and Miami, really). And that the Coastal isn't a dumpster fire like it gets called so often.
