For those who yesterday read my comment about our Defensive Coordinator, I hope you will forgive PART of what I said. My problem with Ted was his apparent REFUSAL to play (except for the FSU game ) an aggressive charging, blitzing, unreadable defense, in all the other games. And of course this one today.
TODAY he called a GREAT game. Those who said our problem was personnel, hopefully will admit our personnel, for the most part, played a game that would have given us an eight or ten win season, especially with a full-speed quarterback and a line playing to its capability.
If Paul Johnson will FORCE, if necessary, Ted Roof to maintain THIS brand of defense and improve the open-field tackling, the high school stars will flock to North Avenue. And half Johnson`s problem will be solved.
Now, for the offense-
