A small ray of sunshine: Marcus Marshall named ACC ROTW

Marcus played on my nephews team in high school. Cant understand why he hasnt played more this yr. Especially after his 1st game. The kid is a pure warrior and has a heart that i swear is bigger than he is. Congrats to him and to you guys for having such a great kid and player

I like the way you think, GTJT. In fact, scrap the dadgum wishbone in favor of the I-formation and feed Marcus ala Barry Switzer with Marcus Dupree.

Ahhh, brings back memories of the 1978 season. We lost the first two games of the season to Duke and California. Pepper scrapped the bone and went to the I-formation to give the ball to some guy named Eddie Lee Ivery and we went on a 7-game winning streak and qualified for a MEG...which was a huge deal back then.

I brought up the I-formation in jest because it will never happen under CPJ, but personnel-wise it makes a lot of sense. We have a big, physical, experienced front five who I'm sure would love nothing more than to go into maul the guy in front of you zone-blocking mode. Skov is a ferocious and physical lead blocking fullback, and Marcus is a guy with great vision, balance, and speed. Power-I with a 6th lineman posing as a TE might be interesting.

Tex.-
Seriously, you need to take over the HC duties. That makes too much sense! Love to see Juene on one side, Summers or Stewart on the other, plays hand signaled in w/option to audible.

GTJT takes over the Dfense, attacking Tenuta style. Stech and BAJ take care of the line, STeams.

Hey, we can go 2-10 with the current regime or do that or better with you Tech Dudes!

I'm for the "TD's", all four of you engineers!!

I know where you two sit at the games too. You won't bee needing those, or your passes to the "booth" upstairs.

Hopefully, the left tackle will be huge in our new power "I". We need to pass block or throw bubble screens. I would just once in my lifetime, like to watch us use a TE like the big boys do. Drag him over the middle carrying some SS or weak side LBacker for a ride, on play action. Freeman and or Gotsis can become two-way stars.

On the Monday night coaches show, Jim from Auburn is being replaced by my son. We need to get progressive, or does the Hill frown on that too?

I will be happy when Marcus breaks off a couple long plays against FSU. Hope he scores on them but the FSU secondary is pretty fast. So he might not make it all the way to the endzone.

If the "booth" is stocked to the ceilings with cold ones - I'm all in. I've already designed the pick play from hell with Freeman & Gotsis running crossing routes as bookend tight ends. Ouch!

After we run that a few times, safeties and LB's will be whispering "oh hell no" pre-snap whenever we line up in our Freeman-Gotsis death cross. That's when we run them both on 6-routes giving JT5 his choice of two wide open defensive linemen for the easy TD.
