Well, going on the credibility of Ken S at the AJC that he didn't make this up.

Mike Bobinski: "At the end of the day, there's a report card"... http://www.myajc.com/news/sports/college/mike-bobinski-at-the-end-of-the-day-theres-a-repor/nqPcD/

Unfortunately, there is also a grader and you giving a larger buyout strapping Tech even more doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about anything he says (or does...or does not do for that matter).

To his credit, at least he has not sent out a condescending ridiculous message out to Tech fans advising we GET WITH THE PROGRAM and claim Gregory is still the coveted head coach he has always been...and other baloney DanRad fed to Tech people 1 year before doing what he was gutless and too blind and stupid to do when he should have (costing us yet another year of misery in the process, btw).

Our best hope is that our reclusive man in the high castle has been spending lots of his time working the elite donors these past few years. If Bobinski has the financial resources, he has the sort of network that should lead to a good hire. After said hire, I'd like to see him retire.

Amen to that.

What gets me is the opportunity cost - somewhat hidden and rarely talked about - to the millions of dollars that could be rolling into the G.T.A.A. coffers because we continually stink. I realize paying off 1 outrageous contract and then likely another less outrageous though still disappointing buyout has to be take care of first.

A smart business man with the money to doll out should cut a deal with Bobinski. He funds the buyouts and 50% of the cost of a top tier salaried HC like a Gregg Marshall. But, that man gets 50% of the additional revenue above the last 5 years' average for the next decade after hiring Marshall. A win-win. Perhaps I need to slow stech81 down on my credit card and up my max on it. I'll get back with you. :D

For argument sake, we win every game to go 10-8 in the conference(not going to happen, just like I don't play lotto-therefore do not expect to win...as 70% of the time you will lose). Still need to win the tournament, and I say that will take another miracle. As we have discussed in this forum, what is returning will be hard pressed to win more than 7 games next year, 10 at the most.

Let's get a jump on the competitition, put out the feelers, gather our committee.

I think I found him just not sure if he is the one on the left of right.
