Greetings Sir;

I can imagine how busy you must be this time of the year with some sports ending, some getting cranked up and spring programs following in the new year. Knowing you are going to be meeting this coming week with our Head Football Coach, in matters pertinent to our main revenue sport and changes that will need to be made, will try to make this as brief as possible.

Will try not to burden you with our problems from the fan perspective. Stech81 is tapped out with letter writing, as Santa, Easter Bunny have attempted to flame his "spirits". One other compatriate is looking for his lost hat, another is soon to be traveling from Texas to N.O. for the G.T.-Tulane basketball game, another is dealing with family health issues. Our brother BAJ is busy on another Tech website trying not to use the number six. Even the Commish of the Conference seems to be in a laundering turmoil, as he did not use cold water when washing his pink dress with his powder blue underwear creating a new color we don't have a team for. That makes you left with me for right now.

Please contact us here, at your earliest convenience. We are concerned about the State of G.T. Athletics. No need to bother with any gift exchanging or buyout contributions. Most of us are tapped out at the moment, or hitting the tap.

Gold and White through and through(even when donating for the drive)and respectfully yours,
Buzzforlife.

Perhaps we should all get together over the holidays - I say at the Indoor Football Practice Facility to be put to some good use for a change - and get an ouija board to communicate with The Dead One (aka The Bobber). Not sure which is more dead...The Bobber, Norm Arey, or Keith Richards?

Only one of those oversees an athletic program that may be at a 30+ year low in performance across the board. Perhaps he will communicate via the ouija board to give us his plan to look less like the bottom dwelling athletic program overall in the ACC. We probably get nothing. I'd even appreciate an F U from the ghost on the ouija board just to know he's listening.

What a waste of money and pathetic hire. Just 2 1/2 more years of driving this overall athletic program 6 feet under and then hopefully we'll find somebody significantly better...though I'm not optimistic.

At a couple of basketball games recently, found myself in the same general area and it took all my will power to not approach him and rip him a new one.

Not only had he better start developing better relationships with the existing big money boosters, he'd better start figuring out how to identify who that next generation of them are and start shaking hands & kissing babies.

His(Mike Bobinski)response:

Thank you. It’s a simple sentiment, but one that’s not said enough.

With the conclusion of the 2015 college football regular season, we want to sincerely thank you for your support of our program this year. We appreciate each and every season ticket holder, and your investment in the success of our student-athletes on and off the field.

As happens every season, there were highs and lows, elation and frustration. The incredible finish against undefeated Florida State was a special moment that every Yellow Jacket will remember forever.

While many schools across the country are struggling with ticket sales and attendance, that was not the case on The Flats. Our nearly 34,000 season ticket holders in 2015 represent the third-highest total in school history, and we’re grateful for the support. With home attendance averaging more than 50,000 per game, you created a loud and electric atmosphere at Bobby Dodd Stadium, which our players notice and appreciate.

This season unfolded in ways we never anticipated. Injuries necessitated extended playing time for 23 freshmen, one of the highest totals among Power-5 programs. You also witnessed top teams and exciting games as four of our opponents finished in the top 10 in final regular season rankings, and six of our losses were by an average of just five points. As we saw time and again, the margin between winning and losing is razor thin, and the simple truth is many games are decided by just a handful of plays.

Our focus has now shifted to 2016. Be assured that we are fully committed to returning Georgia Tech football to the level of success we all expect, and look forward to putting in the work necessary to meet that challenge.

The 2016 schedule should be just as exciting as this year’s, and opens in less than 10 months in Dublin, Ireland, against Boston College. The home schedule includes top ACC opponents Clemson, Duke and Miami along with non-conference games against Vanderbilt and Georgia Southern.

On the team front, we return 33 players who made significant contributions this year, along with a number returning from injury. We’re hopeful that the growing pains of youth this season will yield dividends next season and beyond.

Once again, we value you as a season ticket holder and want to say thank you for all of your support. We’re looking forward to seeing you at Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2016.

Note: The signatures did not copy(they were cursive, Mike Bobinski, AD and CPJ.
