Last week a bumming 2-3 to move the season record to 19-21. Here's hoping Week 9 gets us back to and over .500...

West Virginia-TCU over 75, Thursday 7:30 Fox Sports 1
TCU will continue to score in the 50's and WVU has enough pop offensively to get into the 20's. TCU won't take their foot off the gas as they continue to need style points on nationally televised games.

Georgia Southern -21 over Texas State, Thursday 7:30 ESPN-U
The Eagles will bounce back in a big way at home off their miserable performance in Boone. Texas State is another one of those smelly teams from the bottom of the Island of Misfit Toys Conference. Eagles take out some pent up frustration from their first ever IMTC loss.

Oklahoma State-Texas Tech over 79, 3:30 ESPN
This game likely takes 4 hours to play minimum. No defense whatsoever which is pretty much consistent throughout the Big Kook. (starting to think maybe, just maybe, Tejas is the only one playing any D in this conference) Looking for a final total in the 90's or higher.

Tulsa -3.5 over SMU, 4:00 ESPNews
The Ponies are just awful. Terrible. Pick another negative adjective if you'd like. Tulsa has lost 4 of its last 5 games but they were to Oklahoma (6-1), Houston (7-0), ECU (4-4) and Memphis (7-0). Tulsa has pounded its other 3 opponents - all on the same terrible level as SMU. Only UTEP gives up more yards per play defensively than SMU. Small price to pay in Dallas as the Hurricanes roll.

Idaho -4.5 over New Mexico State, 8:00 ESPN-3
Yes, there is value to be found wagering in the IMTC. NMSU has the worst scoring defense in the country - giving up 49 ppg. They are 3rd from last in YPP allowed (just ahead of SMU). Idaho will cover this small price on the road against a terrible football team.
