Volleybees 2015 schedule announced

One additional note... the ACC has moved from 18 conference games to 20 conference games this upcoming season. Considering there is no tournament anymore, I think this is a good move.

Another observation...

Nov. 23, Friday, home vs UNC 7pm & Nov. 25, Sunday, home vs NC State 1pm...this is homecoming weekend and those matches are before and after the big FSU home FB game on Saturday, Nov. 24. Should be a great weekend of events. Let's hope the Volleybees are having a successful season in Year #2 under CMC when that weekend rolls around.

I look forward to seeing what the Van Gunst Sisters Show brings to the NATS this season. In Michelle Collier's 2nd year, she sports a roster that includes only 1 senior (who doesn't see the floor much).

The list of majors these gals are pursuing is equally impressive. 5 of 6 starters return...

Teenan Van Gunst, 6'0", Jr., Outside Hitter, Mechanical Engineering
Annika Van Gunst, 6'0", Jr., Middle Blocker, Mechanical Engineering
Sydney Wilson, 6'2", So., Middle Blocker, Civil Engineering or Architecture
Rebecca Martin, 5'11", Jr., Setter, Industrial & Systems Engineering
Lauren Pitz, 6'2", Jr., Middle Blocker, Biology

Then, you have 3 new international signees (or maybe just 2) entering the program...

Although Brazilian Hellen Lacava is not on Tech's official roster... http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/w-volley/mtt/geot-w-volley-mtt.html

Gabby Benda started 23 of 31 matches at Marquette as a true freshman before transferring to Ma Tech.

Here's hoping the Volleybees get off to a good start, get back to kicking the Dwags' hind parts like normal, and make improvements in Year 2 under CMC.

A couple of additional matches to be streamed live added to the schedule since its initial release...

1. As hypothesized earlier in the thread, the match at the Cesspool will indeed be streamed live via SEC Network Plus...which is essentially the same concept as ESPN-3. Friday, Sep. 4, 7pm.

2. 2 days later on Sunday, Sep. 6, at 1pm, the home match versus Auburn has now been added as an ESPN-3 live streaming telecast.

Looking forward to hopefully seeing a very young team grow in its second year under CMC.

Edit note: The match at Kennesaw State (Sep. 18, Friday, 7pm) will be streamed live via ASunTV as well.
