2016 Wing De'Riante Jenkins was offered by Georgia Tech yesterday. Jenkins text me late last night with the news. GT began showing interest in Jenkins, a South Carolina native, this past March with assistant coach Mamadou N'Diaye leading his recruitment.

Jenkins played last season at West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Florida but will transfer to a new school for his senior year. That school has yet to be officially announced but he appears to be leaning towards Hargrave Military Academy. His AAU team is Upward Stars based in South Carolina.

He is a long armed 6-foot-5 wing with a high arcing jump shot and the ability to get to the rim and finish with either hand. Jenkins is also a superior athlete. His physical gifts make him a potentially dangerous perimeter defender at the next level.

Recently USC, LSU, Tennessee, Kansas and Ohio State have begun showing interest in Jenkins, who was originally a member of the 2015 class but reclassified last fall to 2016.

Here is video of Jenkins from the recent NBPA Top 100 Camp
