If you don't know who Inky is, he was a terrific DB for the Vols who was knocked out and paralyzed on a play against Air Force in Neyland Stadium. My family and I were in the stadium when it went silent for about 20+ minutes. Air Force almost came back and won. Fisher DeBerry's bunch scored on Fulmer's 5-star studded Vols defense over and over with the triple option in the 2nd half and then scored to creep back to a 1-pt deficit with under a minute to play. DeBerry chose to go for 2 and it failed saving the upset loss for the Vols.
Walking back to the hotel after the game, most thoughts from both Vols fans and the classy-as-usual Falcons fans were asking about and wondering how Inky was doing. Sometimes when a guy is wiped out, after a while he will at least show some type of movement. This didn't happen. There was concern that he may not live that evening.
