The Men's Lacrosse season got underway last weekend in Nashville with a drubbing of Vanderbilt 21-2. The 2016 Jackets open their home schedule this weekend on the Roe Stamps Turf Fields next to the CRC with two ranked teams coming to town- #12 Boston College and #16 Liberty. Tech was pre-season ranked #6 after their 17-2 record last year.

BC was #12. We are at #6 currently. Next up VT Beamers Bunch of Birds who are #4.

Also, G TJT622, we have a Club Mens Soccer Team. Going to send Stech81 out to investigate, armed with your credit card for the beer. New promotion will have free brewskis before St. Pat's Day. He selects 5 games up until Mar. 17th, if we win-he gives 3 thousand beers away per win. Frat. Dudes rejoice.

Like it or leave it, update here on the other undefeated Yellow Jacket Squad. Weather should be warmer towards the end of this week with rain predicted for our Saturday match with 'Bama.

Tech defeated Tigers without a lake, 13-3 and #14 Mich. St. 11-5, this week.

Currently ranked #2, we are a sizzling 7-0. Let's keep Danny Hall until we lose one?

Great news with our only undefeated team now-took down 'Bama yesterday 23-4.

Next up on the 19th, which is a Saturday at home, LSU Bengal Kitty Cats.

Let's play some hardball with a net!

The alumni of the program have actually raised over $300,000 to build stands on the turf which will really enhance the experience. They are set to be completed by end of March- if not sooner.

Update: Dedication, stands were completed and celebrated.
