Effects of GT-BC in Dublin Ireland to kickoff 2016

We originally contracted with Mercer to open at BDS on Sep. 3, 2016. I assume we will move that back a week and our first 3 games of 2016 will be...

Sep. 3 vs BC at Dublin, Ireland
Sep. 10 vs Mercer at home
Sep. 17 vs Vanderbilt at home

Having what should be a cupcake game coming off some tired bodies from travel and time zone differences in game 2 against Mercer will be good. I'd prefer we go ahead and play that game in Week 2 and still have an open week later in the season.

Another note regarding the GT-BC game in Ireland. Some fans may not be aware of this, but Tech already has a presence in Ireland via the Georgia Tech Research Institute in Athlone, Ireland. Athlone is in the center of Ireland and about an hour drive west of Dublin.
